I’ve been volunteering at The DO Lectures for a decade and driving or riding the Land Rover is the most sought after job. The Land Rover is used to transfer the speaker and attendees luggage across the site from the car park to their luxury glamming accommodation and is an iconic sight—volunteers loading luggage, hanging off the back and front and giving lifts to some lucky attendees or speakers. When it’s not being driven it’s a photo opportunity and reminder (as if you needed one) that things will never quite be the same again.
